Originally, the band needed to reunite with unique vocalist Bobby Kimball to report new songs for a best hits report, however the report company as an alternative insisted they rent South African singer Jean-Michel Byron. Before Byron was introduced in, the band recorded "Goin' Home" with Kimball. This music was later featured on the Toto XX album as an "unreleased music." When Byron was introduced in he and Toto recorded 4 new songs which had been included on their biggest hits album Past to Present 1977–1990, launched in 1990.
